The Spotted Dog has transformed! A total transformation, with new build housing a large open plan kitchen with all brand new equipment.
With a new interior sympathetically designed showcasing original features, The Spotted Dog offers a superb bar space for eating and drinking flowing into the restaurant area and semi-private room. Alongside the main bar sits a separate private function area seating 55 covers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastically passionate and dedicated full-time kitchen porter.
We have an opportunity for hard working kitchen porters to join our new and exciting team. You will be working in great conditions with new equipment and be an integral part of our friendly but dedicated team. You will be provided with a freshly made meal during your break time. On going training will be given to you. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills with in our privately owned company.
You jobs will include:-
Pot washing and kitchen cleaning
Assisting the chefs where necessary
Basic vegetable preparation
Keeping outside areas clean and tidy
You must be:
Efficient and thorough
Have a positive attitude
Ability to work under pressure, on your own and also a good team player
History of working in the hospitality industry is preferred.
Flexible with working different types of shifts demanded by the business
Available to work at short notice
You must be over 18 years of age and have your own transport to get to and from work.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From £10.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
