Full time position for a van driver / workshop maintenance assistant in a small metal fabrication company. An engineering background is preferable but not essential.
The role will generally consist of:
- Delivering products to customers
- Transporting goods to and from various suppliers and subcontractors
- Wrapping and packaging products
- Maintaining the company vehicle
- Cleaning and tidying the workshop
Assistance in the workshop will be required when not delivering. This will include general tidying of the workspace, and on occasion may require basic production work.
Due the nature of the role, working hours could change at short notice, therefore the candidate should have good time-management skills and the ability to be flexible to changing requirements.
